GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Team Leader plays a vital role in supporting day-to-day operations within the Certified Pre-Owned department. Acting as an extension of management, this position provides direction, training, and support to team members to ensure safety, quality, efficiency, and production goals are consistently achieved.
This role directly contributes to transforming used golf cars into high-quality, customer-ready vehicles that reflect the precision and pride of the Club Car brand.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and oversee the daily performance of the assigned work group or production line.
Drive team achievement in safety, quality, efficiency, and adherence to production schedules.
Partner with the Area Supervisor to assign and balance workloads effectively.
Ensure team members have the necessary tools, equipment, and materials to perform their jobs safely and efficiently.
Promote and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including leading 5S audits and improvements.
Communicate performance metrics, expectations, and updates clearly to the team.
Foster continuous improvement through MDI (Managing for Daily Improvement) and problem-solving initiatives.
Identify opportunities for process enhancement and lead implementation of improvement actions.
Audit and reinforce adherence to standard work practices.
Serve as the primary communication link between management and associates, ensuring alignment and engagement.
Evaluate staffing needs daily and coordinate labor resources to meet production requirements.
Provide hands-on training and coaching to ensure all associates understand and consistently meet established standards.

- Maintains a safe and productive work environment.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
- Must be able to work overtime as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB
Education:
- High School Diploma/Equivalent required.
- College Degree preferred.
Experience:
- A minimum of one year of Club Car experience or two years of leadership experience.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Office programs.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Requires occasional lifting of objects of objects 25 to 50 pounds.
- Work requires periodic stooping/bending and frequent walking/standing.
- Work involves activities that require special safety precautions, e.g., working around moving parts, machines, or vehicles.
